The SFAC College Department now has newly purchased computer facilities and equipment in the laboratories. These equipment are always replaced and updated. The college is also equipped with multiple Wi-Fi hotspots. There are also implementations of Basic Robotics in suitable classes.
In academics, students in the College of Engineering, College of Business Administration, College of Computer Studies and the College of Hotel and Restaurant Management attend seminars and workshops in their respective fields together with the professors and instructors.
Students of the College of HRM won in different cooking contests and challenges sponsored by various companies held in different malls in the metropolis. They also attended hotel tours in the cities.
In the College of Nursing, there are seven hospital affiliations. Nursing students are also posted in different school campuses to perform health promotions and activities.
One hundred (100%) of our college graduates in Education, Computer Science and Engineering get employed right after graduation. Our BSED and BEED graduates got a passing rate of 100% in the Licensure Exams for Teachers (LET) in April 2011 and our Nursing graduates got a passing rate of 100% in the Nursing Board Exams last 2009.
Meanwhile the Executive College Dean, Dr. Arturo O. Orosco, Jr., the chairs, teachers and students joined in the celebration of the 30th Founding Anniversary by way of having booths, film showing, activity day and the procession. These activities were spearheaded by a Thanksgiving Mass officiated by Bishop Palang, attended by the top level management officials headed by Dr. Evangeline Oñas-Orosco, Chair and President and Hon Arturo A. Orosco, Ph.D. , administrators, principals and students of all the nine SFAC campuses. The celebrations saw happy faces of students and teachers. There were singing, dancing, giving dedications, music and laughter in the campus and many more. Everybody wished each other “Happy 30th Founding Anniversary!”
