Dr. Ricafort Speaks in Nursing’s 4th Capping, Pinning and Candlelighting Ceremonies

The College of Nursing held its 4th Capping, Pinning and Candlelighting Ceremonies at the SFAC gymnasium last August 7, 2008.
Dr. Nona S. Ricafort, OIC, Commission on Higher Education (CHED) was guest speaker in said solemn rites. The holy mass was officiated by Fr. Joey Guinto.
Dr. Evangeline Oñas-Orosco, President and Chair of the Board, Dr. Arturo A. Orosco, Sr., Senior Vice President and Treasurer, Dr. Arturo O. Orosco, Jr., Exec. Vice President and Exec. College Dean witnessed the ceremonies.

Mrs. Leticia U. Reyes, Dean of the College of Nursing conducted the imposition of the caps and pins to the nursing students of BSN 2010, assisted by Mrs. Irma Javier and Ms. Angelica Hernandez. Florence Nightingale was personified by Ms. Carolyn Calupitan, a College of Nursing faculty member.
Dr. Ricafort was introduced by Sir Prince and the Franciscan Message was delivered by Dr. Evangeline Oñas-Orosco. Mr. Pablo Siwa Belardo, VP for Administration, College Registrar and HRD Dept. Director delivered the Closing Remarks.
The Gintong Lahi Dance Company provided the dance interpretations for the program.
